First the Colonel, and now Ronald. Seems like all of our childhood heroes are biting the dust!
McDonalds is the latest target of PETA. Seems that the people who supply chicken to Ronald use cruel methods.
Here is a quote from the McCruelty site:
“There is a less cruel method of slaughter available today that would eliminate these abuses, yet McDonald’s refuses to require its U.S. suppliers to switch to this method.”
PETA is always on the move. Helping the animals. Keeping countless animals from being slaughtered or chained to a tree.
Getting people to adopt instead of buy. Where will you get your next pet?
Apparently the Superbowl is not hurting for takers on their high dollar commercial spots.
NBC asked for so many edits on PETA’s commercial that it would have just about deleted the whole commercial. They said that the commercial “depicts a level of sexuality exceeding our standards.” Here are some of the things that they wanted to be cut out before they would reconsider: licking the pumpkin, touching the breast, pumpkin from behind the legs, rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin, making love to the broccoli, almost the same with the asparagus, licking the egg plant, and rubbing the asparagus on the breast. Watch the commercial to see what you think.
