I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be slightly sarcastic. Hayley Mills sings the entire song in pants, and they have that line about hiding "the real you." I think I have a better understanding of what it means to be feminine. The beginning, before Hayley starts singing, she says "it's what's inside that counts." After being in college for a year, I see that it's more than just wearing dresses, but it's also an attitude. It can start with being modest (tshirts and jeans are fine!) outwardly, which attracts a guy, since you aren't putting everything out, and he focuses more on you as a person than your body.

I love all my fellow gays! I think you are talking about gender more than sexual preference in this video. Imo, throughout the world, to be a woman is frowned upon. The things you say certainly do exist. But I want to point out that this isn't exclusively a gay issue. Labeling and prejudice are human nature. Very interesting. In one of my sessions the persisting image was what came out of the left eye and what came out of the right eye of a laughing buddha image I created and fell down from -- into the black/dark side of the right eye, while the right eye was all about light and angels. My sister has had 5 children and because of that I know that after childbirth they give them napkins that are very long and have a belt that the long ends connect to to hold it in place similar to the leather thong you mentioned. That would be something a woman could possibly get from a nurse or maybe online somewhere? Just a thought. Something like that might be good for reusable napkins in a long-term wilderness situation.

I believe this subject is avoided needlessly Tam and when it comes to it is a very important subject to be discussed. In Ambon they have a practice when the women are menstrating they have special huts that they go in for 5-7days,the men are not allowed into these huts as it is considered a sacred time for the women.The aztec women bathed upto 5 times a day while menstrating and twice a day any other time,

Nice one, really had me going too. In europe (uk) Yucca doesnt grow wild but the horse chestnut is high in sapponins. The thing with the keeper (here Mooncup) is that you have quite a lot of blood in one go to dispose (gift back to nature!) of and I have not yet found the best wa to do this. Being able to spend at least the first 2

Tam, great video. I love how you and Dave refer to us as Natives. That and the knowledge that you both pass on is why I have so much respect for the both of you. My girlfriend was a little put off by the menstrual cups, she said she'd rather use some cloth wrapped around cattail fluff like my female ancestors did.
